There's No Such Thing as Death

Glasgow’s The Ninth Wave return after a short hiatus with their third studio album, There's No Such Thing as Death, released through Mogwai’s Rock Action Records.

Recorded in summer 2026 at Black Bay Studio in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides and produced by Dan Austin, whose credits include Pixies and Massive Attack, the album replaces the band’s familiar synth layers with a more guitar-driven sound. The result remains unmistakably The Ninth Wave, but with a rawer edge: brooding and moody, yet defiantly alive.

Available on black vinyl and CD.
