Colombian experimental musician and composer Lucrecia Dalt scores Rabbit Trap, a story of creative renewal and unsettling discoveries in the Welsh countryside. This soundtrack edition is pressed on lilac vinyl.
Seeking fresh inspiration, married musicians Daphne and Darcy move to rural Wales to finish their new record. While collecting audio samples, Darcy captures a mysterious sound never before heard by human ears. The discovery rekindles Daphne’s creativity, but as her music spills into the landscape, ancient woodland forces begin to stir.
Dalt brings an exploratory sonic sensibility shaped by releases including Anticlines, No era sólida and ¡Ay!, alongside her work for film and television. The score’s focus track features vocals by actress Rosy McEwen, who plays Daphne.
